Fiona is a full time Thrive Programme® Coach & Mentor committed to helping people turn their lives around. Following completion of a BSc in Psychology in 1997, Fiona has strived to become great at helping people to love their lives. She is a psychotherapist and a proud member of the Thrive team, responsible for the progression and development of the highly successful Thrive Programme®.
At first my interest in psychology was purely selfish. By the time I was nearing my twenties I was experiencing bouts of anxiety, panic attacks, racing and negative thoughts, and depression. I was concerned enough to know that life would be fairly difficult if I continued the way I was.
After completing my Psychology BSc, I began my personal and professional development in mental health. This was in the mid 2000’s, a lot has developed from there.
Having sorted myself out from the problems mentioned above, I began a passionate journey of helping others to resolve their problems quickly and efficiently, with a lot of understanding coming from my own experience. I have been fortunate to work with many individuals from around the world including the USA, Denmark, Germany, Australia, France, Spain and Japan to name a few, and I still find it very rewarding years later.
To be able to teach people how to be resilient, happy with themselves, free of fear, motivated, and importantly, to do this independently makes it all worthwhile.
Now very experienced in knowing what to look out for, I can see the potholes coming! The key to my work is being able to identify the core issues without much prompting, moving the client along their journey quickly. The skills I’ve developed across my career ensure there isn’t much my clients and I haven’t managed to knock out! No matter how deeply you feel your stuck or another intervention won't work – I know there is something you haven’t tried yet that can help you.

Feel free to contact me at any time on any issue like:
- "I'm stressed out all the time and feel overwhelmed"
- "I've got a horrible fear of being sick that is taking over my life. I won't go to cinemas, flying makes me anxious, and I can't handle it if the kids say they have a stomach ache"
- "I'm so socially anxious. I don't speak up in meetings and my career is suffering. Asking a girl out is terrifying and my relationships are suffering"
- "I can't get motivated and life feels pretty €^@$"
- "My GP will give me antidepressants and I really, really don't want to do that"
- "My child is anxious and won't sleep/eat/go to school. I don't know what to do"
- "I want to change but don't know how. Got any ideas?"
I run clinics in Central and South West London, in addition to about half my clients over Skype and FaceTime. Either method 'come' and say hello!
When I met Fiona I was just so shocked; she's so lovely and understanding, and she's so knowledgeable too. If I don't understand something she can just reword it or use a really helpful example and I'll just completely understand.
The best thing really is for the first time in God knows how long I feel excited for the future, and that's a really nice thing to say out loud.
How quickly Fiona got me in that I was a total stranger and she seemed to identify my issues without too much prompting and encouraged me through the exercises to reduce my helplessness to feeling myself again.
Fiona helped me to take the fear out of my panic by constantly giving me perspective and genuine support. Fiona also helped me to ‘calm’ by taking a light hearted/humoured approach on several occasions, this made a big difference for me personally.
Fiona was a great listener and helped me get some things into perspective, something I’ve not been very good at in the past.I'd recommend anyone struggling to cope just to call Fiona now.
